From client context to a considered plan

Less reconstruction. More time for the advice.

Start with what the client has already told you and build from there. Ledger Black connects profile information, meeting extraction, financial analysis and document preparation across insurance, mortgages, KiwiSaver and financial planning. AI helps organise the evidence and prepare the work; shared calculators and saved scenarios give your advice a clear numerical foundation.

A MORE CONNECTED WAY OF WORKING

Less between you and the work.

Capture once, build from context

Bring client submissions and meeting-derived fact-find updates into the advice process, with a review workflow for extracted information.

Make the choices tangible

Explore insurance needs, lending calculations, cash flow and investment or retirement scenarios in the context of the household.

Carry the reasoning into the document

Connect the fact-find, selected recommendations and supporting information to the tools that prepare your client-facing advice.

A connected workbench for the advice you give

Move from scope and disclosure through fact-finding, analysis and recommendations without rebuilding the client file at each stage. Insurance needs analysis, mortgage LVR and serviceability tools, KiwiSaver risk profiling and wider planning scenarios each have a place. The client’s goals and household position remain the thread connecting the questions you ask, the alternatives you explore and the advice you prepare.

Show the trade-off, not just the answer

Use saved scenarios to discuss what changes when a client adjusts savings, borrowing, cover or retirement plans. Put assumptions alongside the result and make comparisons part of the conversation. AI-assisted extraction and dedicated drafting tools take on preparation work, while the adviser evaluates the alternatives and develops the recommendation. The same client context then supports the advice document and future review.

A FEW GOOD QUESTIONS

Know where
you stand.

Clear information makes for a better conversation. Here are some useful things to understand before you start.

Does AI choose the recommendation?

No. The adviser decides scope, suitability and recommendations. AI-generated drafts and extracted facts need review against the client record and source evidence before use.

Are planning results guaranteed outcomes?

No. Scenarios are illustrations based on their inputs and assumptions. Check timing, fees, tax, inflation and the relevant calculator settings when comparing results.

Do lending calculations amount to lender approval?

No. LVR and serviceability tools support preparation and discussion. Lender criteria, verification, assessment and approval remain separate from the modelled result.
