Build the skills behind better conversations
Don’t just review the meeting. Improve the next one.
Ledger Black brings adviser development into the working platform. Review supported meetings against the Compass framework, find the moments behind the feedback and work on a specific improvement. Voice practice provides a place to rehearse discovery, explanation and difficult client conversations before the next real meeting.

A MORE CONNECTED WAY OF WORKING
Less between you and the work.
Feedback with something behind it
Connect coaching findings to transcript evidence and identifiable moments, with scoring shaped by the type of meeting.
One clear development priority
Move from a score to focused coaching on the behaviour that needs attention, alongside observations about delivery and conversation structure.
Practise without a client on the line
Rehearse with AI client personas across guided, realistic, resistant and advanced scenarios, then review the attempt.
A method, not a generic sentiment score
Meeting reviews use a structured rubric with different expectations for introductory and advice conversations. The workflow classifies the meeting, checks that it can be assessed, detects behaviours and links findings to evidence. Code calculates the score and priorities; AI helps interpret the conversation and produce coaching. The Compass method also provides practical guidance, examples and common mistakes for developing the underlying skills.
Learn it. Rehearse it. Take it into the next meeting.
Voice drills focus on situations advisers recognise: a client who is “just comparing”, a time-poor business owner, a reluctant answer or a concern that needs room to emerge. Personas have defined motivations, resistance and conditions for revealing more, so the adviser has to earn the next part of the conversation. Practice feedback focuses on the target behaviours, with delivery observations where usable timing or acoustic evidence is available.
A FEW GOOD QUESTIONS
Know where
you stand.
Clear information makes for a better conversation. Here are some useful things to understand before you start.
Is every meeting given a score?
No. The review checks meeting type and usable evidence before scoring. Short, unsuitable or unclassifiable conversations can be marked not scoreable rather than receiving a misleading number.
Is this a compliance certification or a guarantee of more sales?
Neither. It is a coaching and practice tool, not regulatory sign-off or a prediction of conversion. Use the feedback alongside supervision, client outcomes and your professional judgement.
Are the practice scenarios tailored to every advice discipline?
The current scenario library is centred on insurance conversations. Many discovery and communication skills transfer, but do not assume a complete mortgage, wealth or financial-planning training curriculum. Voice practice also requires the relevant services to be configured.
