Scale your service. Not your administration.
The servicing revolution has begun.
Scale your service. Not your administration. Ledger Black brings the next review into focus before the conversation starts. Scheduled reminders and preparation tasks move the work forward, while automatic briefs for eligible upcoming meetings bring together the client context already on file. Add focused, adviser-led research and clear follow-up to help your team serve a growing client base without rebuilding every relationship from scratch.
Talk about your practice
A MORE CONNECTED WAY OF WORKING
Less between you and the work.
Arrive with the context
Start with an AI-prepared meeting brief drawing on available client information, previous conversations and advice activity. Spend preparation time checking what matters, not reconstructing the story.
Make room for more clients
Put review reminders and preparation tasks on a repeatable cadence. Give your team a clearer view of the next commitment and more time for the relationships behind it.
Keep the next step connected
Move from the review into assigned tasks, follow-up drafts and the next client conversation. Keep responsibilities with the relationship rather than in a separate list.
Start the review before the meeting
A review date should start a workflow, not a last-minute search. The configured servicing cadence schedules preparation reminders and tasks ahead of the annual review; policy anniversary and renewal alerts surface further reasons to make contact. Separately, the meeting-brief workflow prepares context for eligible scheduled meetings using available fact-find information, recent meetings, advice activity and retrieved notes or transcripts. Your team reviews that starting point, confirms changes with the client and shapes the conversation.
Bring the right evidence to the conversation
Make research relevant to the client you are reviewing. Ask for policy information using the provider, product and policy start year to narrow the available wording versions, then open the source documents and check the detail. Adviser-initiated research helps you explore the questions raised by the client’s circumstances before the meeting. Where a market comparison is needed, initiate pricing from the client’s Policies tab with the appropriate integration. The adviser connects the evidence to the client and decides what it means for their advice.
Build a service rhythm your team can share
Connect the preparation, conversation and follow-through around the client record. Use the brief to identify questions, confirm the facts during the review, and turn agreed next steps into tasks with owners and due dates. AI assistance can help draft follow-up, while authorised colleagues work from the same relationship context. Less repeated assembly gives your team more room to look after clients as the business grows, with judgement and accountability staying with the people giving the advice.
A FEW GOOD QUESTIONS
Know where
you stand.
Clear information makes for a better conversation. Here are some useful things to understand before you start.
What happens automatically before an annual review?
Configured lifecycle workflows schedule review communications and preparation tasks. A separate scheduled meeting-brief workflow can generate AI context for eligible upcoming meetings that do not already have a brief. A preparation task is a prompt to do work, not proof that research has been completed or a meeting booked with the client. Execution depends on the enabled workflows, background services and available records; your team checks the brief and confirms the appointment.
Is research automatically matched to every client before their review?
Not as a standard end-to-end promise. The current workflow supports automatic meeting-context preparation and adviser-initiated research, not a guaranteed research pack matched to every client before each annual review. Your team requests the relevant research and checks its applicability. Renewal alerts are also separate from market comparisons: automatic renewal market re-quoting has been retired, and quoting is initiated by the adviser.
How do we check that policy information is relevant and current?
Research draws on the documents available in the knowledge library. Use the provider, product variant and policy start year to find candidate wordings, then check source documents and effective dates against the client’s actual policy, including endorsements and exclusions. The latest wording is not necessarily the wording that applies to an older policy. Missing documents or ambiguous versions require clarification, not an assumed match.
Who controls access, follow-up and advice decisions?
Work within company, role and client permissions. The global Virtual Assistant and client-scoped AI Assistant have distinct access boundaries. In assistant tool flows, read-only actions can run automatically; actions assigned confirmation or approval tiers pause for approval. Separately configured lifecycle communications follow their own sending settings. Your team reviews AI output, confirms client facts and retains responsibility for suitability, recommendations and follow-through.
